Kobido® Licensing Course

After studying KOBIDO® Levels 1, 2 and 3 with our Licensed Instructors or via our Zoom lessons with the Grandmaster, you will be invited to take an examination. After passing the Exam, you have the option to sign a yearly licensing agreement for permission to use the name of KOBIDO®.This license is not exclusive to the US and extends to several other countries such as Germany, Italy, UK, Switzerland, Spain, Lithuania, Russia, and Japan.

In the United States, only licensed estheticians or certified/licensed massage therapists are authorized to practice Kobido or any kind of massage. Licensing regulations vary by state or county and can limit the scope of services permitted. While both types of professionals may offer facial massage treatments, procedures such as extraction and exfoliation may be restricted or prohibited for massage therapists.

You must hold a valid local license before attending our Kobido classes. Please understand that our training does not grant massage or esthetician licensing in the US and is not a substitute for the required professional license.

If you have questions regarding your state’s specific requirements, we recommend consulting the local law on esthetic and massage licenses.
