Training Schedule

Direct Apprenticeship with the Kobido® Grandmaster

Taught by Grandmaster Dr. Shogo Mochizuki himself, this training offers a unique and immersive experience.

Level 4 and 5, Japan Training: Fall Class 2026 ‍

In 2026, there will be only one Level 4–5 Training, which will take place in September. The previously tentative plan for a May session has been canceled. The new schedule is as follows:

Level 4
September 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 2026 (Tuesday–Friday)

Level 5
September 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 2026 (Tuesday–Friday)

The training will take place at the Shibuya Hikarie building in Shibuya, Tokyo. Please note that participants are responsible for arranging their own flights and accommodations.

The number of participants is currently set at 12. Additional slots may be added depending on the availability of our Teaching Assistants.

Tuition: €1598 per level

Training Package: €599* per level

Total: €2197 per level

The Japan Training will take place at the Hikarie building in Shibuya, in the heart of Tokyo.

Instructors

Dr. Shogo Mochizuki

The 26th Generation Grandmaster, Kobido Lineage Holder

Dr. Shogo Mochizuki started the Kobido training in Tokyo, Japan, in 1977. He started teaching in the United States in 1993 and published the Kobido's first textbook in 1995. He is the author of all of Kobido's official books. Over the past 33 years, he has trained more than 50,000 students worldwide. He was appointed by the 25th Generation Master of the House and Lineage of Kobido and currently carries the role of 26th Generation Master and Lineage Holder.

Ritsuko Kanetsuna

Licensed Kobido Instructor

Ritsuko Kanetsuna has been studying with Dr. Shogo Mochizuki since 2011. She is a graduate of Kobido Esthetic College in Tokyo, Japan. Ritsuko has undergone instructor training with Dr. Shogo Mochizuki. She is an official licensed Kobido instructor and the head instructor of Kobido Esthetic College’s Tokyo Campus.
