A trademark is a form of intellectual property that protects names, logos, and other identifiers, ensuring they can only be used with the owner’s permission. It safeguards both the public, by letting customers know exactly where a product or service comes from and the brand, by preserving its integrity and reputation.
Kobido® is a registered trademark in multiple countries, protecting the authenticity of our centuries-old facial massage tradition. This means the name can only be used by licensed practitioners who have been trained and authorized through our official programs.
If you have been offered courses or received a license from instructors in any of the countries listed on our Trademark page who are not licensed by us (see Licensed Instructors), you might be eligible for reimbursements. If this has been the case and you have been unknowingly using the Kobido® name without our permission, our goal is not to disrupt your practice but to help you move forward the right way. We might be able to provide a smooth transition while you work towards becoming an official Licensed Kobido® Facialist.
